INFORMATION - TECHNICAL VISITS TO ANDALUSIA:
The different technical visits will include both forestry matters and tourism. They
will include visits to the Forestry Defence Centres (CEDEFOs), whose
purpose is to defend Andalusia's forests from wildfire, and which include prevention,
extinction and the restoration of affected areas. |

The Centres implement the Infoca Plan, which is based on seven thematic blocks: |

Basic planning information. |
| |

Fire prevention. |
| |
- |
Management and coordination of the Plan. |
| |
- |
Firefighting resources. |
| |
- |
Operativity of the Plan. |
| |
- |
Restoration of affected areas. |
| |

Application of new technologies and the maintenance of the Plan. |
| |

| |
There is also a social element, based on: |

| |
- |
Collaboration with local councils for the purposes of self-protection. |
| |
- |
Support for the creation of forest defence groups and the organisation of such collaboration. |
| |
- |
Promotion of the constitution and training of local rapid response groups and equivalent organisations in the fight against wildfire. |

Collaboration with owners and title-holders of forest land for fire prevention management. |
| |
- |
Advise farmers on preventive forestry matters and other prevention measures. |
| |
- |
Serve as an educational centre, especially with schoolchildren, emphasising the importance of the conservation and protection of natural spaces. |
