The journey to Cordova takes just one hour. The tour begins with a visit to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos (Alcázar Palace of the Christian Monarchs), with its wonderful gardens and halls decorated with mosaics. The next stop is the Mezquita, the great mosque of Cordova, a symbol of art during the times of the independent caliphate, which was later converted into a cathedral. The tour continues with a visit to the Jewish Quarter, stopping off at the old marketplace, which has now been converted into a craft market. Our tour will also take us past the monument to Jewish philosopher Maimonides, Calle de las Flores and the Pequeña Sinagoga (Small Synagogue). Lunch on your own before returning to Seville.
Lunch is not included, but a selection of good eating places will be recommended. |
