The Conference Secretariat of the 4th International Wildland Fire Conference 2007 has designed the following tour programme for those conference participants who are interested:
The official tour programme for accompanying persons is included in the registration fee paid by accompanying persons.
All the tours and excursions are designed for groups of at least 15 people. The Conference Organizers reserve the right to cancel any tour for which less than 15 people have signed up. Those who have paid for the cancelled tour will receive a full refund.
For reasons of numbers, the Conference Organizers will only accept bookings for the tour to Granada and the tour to Jerez up to one week before the start of the conference. The deadline for signing up for these tours is therefore 7 May 2007.
You can book and pay for the tour you would like to take online at the conference website in the “On-Line Reservation” section. The deadline for booking and paying for tours is 7 May 2007, one week before the start of the event. Any later tour bookings must be made on-site at the tour desk designated by the Conference Secretariat for this purpose at the conference venue (Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla - FIBES).
The desk will be open on 13 May from 15:00 to 20:00 and from 14 May to 17 May from 08:00 to 15.00.
Tours must be paid for in full when they are booked by credit card or bank transfer, indicating the name of the person registered for the conference.
If you pay by bank transfer, you must fax us a copy of the transfer receipt, so that we can confirm payment. Fax: (+34) 954 22 16 57.
Confirmation of the booking and payment will be sent to you by e-mail.
If tours are cancelled for reasons of force majeure or for any cause not within the control of the Conference Organizers, a full refund will be made.
The Conference Organizers reserve the right to cancel a tour if less than 15 people sign up. In such cases, a full refund will be made and alternatives found for the participants of the cancelled tour.
Cancellations by participants once the tours have been confirmed will be accepted and a full refund made up to 16 April 2007 . Cancellations after this date will receive no refund.
The tours will leave from the conference venue (Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla - FIBES). The meeting point will be the Conference Secretariat tour desk.
Make sure you are on time for the tour departure. You should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour is due to leave.
Follow the recommendations of the tour guide at all times.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Keep with the group and take good care of your belongings.
Wear appropriate clothing if the tour includes visits to religious places.
If it is hot, ensure that you drink plenty of water and protect yourself from the sun.
Enjoy yourself and don't forget your camera, so that you can immortalize a great day.

This information will also be available from the hospitality desks at the official hotels and from the Conference Secretariat tour desk at the conference venue (Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla - FIBES).
